reflections in .....(artist name pending)....'s work.
reflections of tassels between my thighs.
my painting jeans.
my silly silver-taped sneakers,
painting shirt,
too many bags.

wandering/exploring/strolling/sunday cords.
maybe too productive for a sunday.
tuesday cords.
photographed on a wednesday.

The 'Love Is Here' Project

been obsessing over hair-font
and looking for something to do with it,
so I thought I'd quickly try it out in between reading the internet.
time constraints in every aspect of everything at the moment
made me think it should be for something other than personal amusement,
so it is a postcard illustration for The 'Love Is Here' Project

i'm following through with the legibility considerations.
maybe too much legibility happening here...
surely hair doesn't speak with such a thick black outline.
(talking hair)

it's on facebook:
The 'Love Is Here'Project:
(there are some really nifty submissions)

o-kay. back to non-drawing time.

makin' an invite-ation

invite for a friend's 21st
event not really called 'KER-CHING',
and her address isn't really a zig-zag.
i would like if my address were a zig-zag.
or, really, anything pictorial.

p.s. i used photoshop for some colouring!
(i am a bit new to it. i used it a lot like Paint.
YEAH, BLUE! GET IN THE BACKGROUND!)
(it was fun.)

^  second page of sketches
^  first hand-drawn 'final' copy,
unedited except for whitening (toothpaste)

^  getting a bit enthusiastic about curves
and joining letters.
obtained feedback: too much curves. and too much joining letters.

^  final.
legibility wins (?)

THERE WILL SHORTLY BE NEWS!

Thanks, Jess.
Sometimes you are so specific and insightful.

But seriously.
